Hey Everyone,

As we get close to wrapping up our herbs series post, I figured we could break down Part 5 into two sections. This way we can get into more detail on how to actually use these herbal ingredients to benefit our hair. Since part 5 will talk about 4 different types of herbs called Lavender, Gotu Kola, Rose Petal, and Calendula. For Part A, we are going to get into the benefits of Gotu Kola and Calendula as these herbal ingredients are less common than the other two. If you are someone, who’s actually heard about these ingredients before, it’s usually referred to as scented fragrance or as flowers that can be planted within your garden or seen outdoors. However, for the purpose of this post, we are going to get into the benefits of these herbs for our hair. So let’s get started.

Hey Everyone,

Welcome to Part 3 of our 6 part herb series. Last time around in part 2, we got into the benefits of Alma, Nettle, Sage, and Fenugreek. This time around, we’ll get into the benefits of Hibiscus, Chamomile, and Bhringraji [i.e false daisy]. Many of us have definitely at least heard of Hibiscus and Chamomile, but how many of you knew about false daisy and what it can do for our hair before today? Not many then that’s ok because this is why we’re doing this 6 part series for us, natural hair people, to get in touch with our inner herbal lifestyle selves. So let’s become one with nature and its herbs. As herbal remedies have amazing healing effects for not only the body, mind, and soul, but they can also give us the thick, voluminous, and smooth texture that we are looking for with our curl pattern and hair.
