Ever get tired of buying all of these over-the-counter hair products for hair growth and dandruff then realize that the only thing growing is the cash leaving your pockets. Don’t you just hate that? Its like we go to the beauty supply store, watch all of these commercials, and listen to all of these store reps who tell us that they used these products on their hair and it miraculously made it grow or reduced dandruff. Then you try it and realize the store rep was right. Something is growing & reducing but it’s not your hair or the dandruff. It’s their sale revenue and your cash inflow because your hair is in the same condition it was before and after using there company’s hair product. Plus what’s worse is that the dandruff is still front and center in your hair. Then you say to yourself wait, I never saw the before and after picture of her hair. Then you ask yourself, it is my hair, has my hair reached its maximum length, is it the product or maybe I should just try another product and go the natural route of doing things?
Hell, I would know from experience and I answered all of these questions that I’m putting out to you. Eventually, I realized going the natural route would help to enhance my hair growth and stop dandruff. Plus I can happily say that I have seen great results and less shredding which is something I know and you know we all can do without. Also utilizing natural product not only lets you as the consumer know where your products come from but it also builds that bond between you and the seller because there are no gimmicks. With natural products, what you see is what you get because everything is self-explanatory and can be easily found at a natural food store or an organic health store vs the other guys who use chemically complex compounds that you and I have never heard of because we’re not chemist. So if you’re doubting going the natural route, just try it out for about a month and see what results you get.
Some Essential Oils that are Great for Hair Growth & Dandruff are:
Ylang Ylang Oil
Ylang Ylang derives from the Canaga Tree which is a tropical tree located in places such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, Comoro, Nossi, and the Madagascar Islands. So why is this great for hair growth and dandruff?
1. It reduces hair shed and hair fall.
2.It prevents hair thinning and when the oil is applied to the scalp, it stimulates the hair follicles which then induces the hair to grow.
3. It also works as a natural conditioner. Meaning its great for adding shine to your hair, reducing frizz and adding moisture.
4.Lastly as this oil does have anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and inflammatory properties, it helps to reduce dandruff and head lice.
As this is a citrus oil, it has anti-bacterial and astringent properties which enable it to enhance tissue regeneration. Meaning it helps to unclog pores within your scalp, which then allows more nutrients to your follicles causing the strand to grow. In addition to that, it also cleanses the scalp and helps to prevent dandruff.
So you’re probably asking why is tangerine oil able to help the hair. For one thing, it has minerals like potassium and magnesium which help to strengthen and add luster to dull hair. In addition to that these minerals also play a role in enhancing hair follicle growth.
Also, this oil smells just like oranges so the aroma that it will cause will be a sweet and fruity smell which isn’t a bad thing when looking for reasons to purchase this oil.
Lemongrass oil contains vitamins A and C which help to aid in hair growth and moisturizing the strands. It also aids in creating collagen which helps to increase protein within the hair that can eventually elongate and thicken it over time. Not only that collagen also helps to reduce the appearance of gray hair and helps to repair split ends as well as adds hydration back into the hair.
Lastly, these essential oils can be mixed with any carrier oil before applying it to your hair such as coconut and almond oil. With that said, let us know if you found this post to be helpful.
